If your holidays destination are the slopes and mountains, remember to don’t let your style standards slip. The style tip I can give you is to throw a knitten cardigan over a pair of leggings and a cosy beanie to create the perfect après-ski look. The runways made it clear, this fall is all about getting inspiration from the ‘70s and trust me, if you nail I, retro will have never looked so good.
The ‘70s cult argyle sweater has made it’s glorious return on the AW14 runways, redesigned to be worn both in the city and in the mountains. Temperley London paired the classic pattern of vari-colored diamonds to a printed skirt that recaptures the colours from the top. Tommy Hilfiger instead featured fringe detailing and cosy beanies, Louis Vuitton paired the wool sweater with a ‘60s high-waist leather skirt, whilst Miu Miu always paired the top with a skirt but getting inspiration from the ‘90s, finishing the look with a pair of glittery and pointed shoes.
