London-Ibiza. Two hours flight to arrive to this amazing island. As soon as you put feet outside the airport you feel the sun kissing your skin, the smell of the sea, the music is already playing in every bar. Probably I was one of the palest person on the island, everybody is so tanned, covered with tattoos, piercings, t-shirts saying “I love IBIZA”. At every inhale you forget the rest of the world, and you enter in a mood of complete and utter freedom. First stop, rent a car, it’s the best way to move around the island. Then check-in the hostel, in the centre of the Ibiza. Time to unpack and off we go to Blue Marlin to sip a Corona whilst watching the sunset and dancing to the first music. Dinner at KM5, with music (obviously), magicians and veterans of the island, ready for another crazy night. At 3am a quick pit stop at the Flower Power at Pacha, a bit of 70’s music and then off to bed. The next day, we had to wait for the ferry to go to Formentera, so breakfast en la Plaza de Rey and a quick shopping in the historic centre of Ibiza, which offers everything from long cotton dresses to souvenirs of the renowned clubs of the island. Remember that the shops close at 2pm and re-open at 5pm. Lunch at the port and then off we go to my beloved island; Formentera.
