The other day I was at home with a friend of mine, and as usual I started searching for something cool in her bag. I was exploring the miriad of stuff she had in it and I came across a very interesting pouch made of organic cotton. She talked to me about this brand and got me very interested, I did a bit of reseach and this is whay I’ve found. In 2006, the model and activist Lauren Bush, started her project FEED, designing the first bag to benefit the UN World Food Programme’s School Feeding Program, which provides food and education for hungry children around the globe. The first FEED bag was made in organic cotton, and was designed to help raise funds and awareness about the operation. The FEED Projects LLC was then founded in 2007 by Lauren Bush and Ellen Gustafson, whom started to produce and sell these bags for the same purpose. Up to know, the FEED Project managed to raise enough money through their sales, to provide over 60 million school meals to children around the world through the WFP.
FEED Projects’ mission is to create good products that help FEED the world. They do this by selling some of the products I have posted below. Each product is environmentally-friendly and make use of artisian-made materials, along with fair-labor production. Everyone has the right to basic human necessities, and FEED can help FEED the world, through the purchase of one of these products. Every purchase is more meals for children around the world whom are hungry. So choose one of them and BUY IT!
